Using AI to send better emails

AI is practically changing the world already. Soon, AI will change the email world too. Are you ready for that? Find out in today’s email knowledge.

Ready to begin using AI to send better emails?

If you aren’t, today’s insight might be a good place to begin.

We aren’t AI experts (we’re actually beginners, like most folks out there), but as we practice and learn, we’re coming across resources and knowledge that would be criminal not to share with you.

Using AI to send better emails doesn’t have to be difficult either.

Check these out and let us know if any of them will get you going or boost your AI for your email journey.

Write copy prompts for emails without silly words

How often do you enter a prompt into your favourite GPT, and it spits out a bunch of repetitive phrases and words you see all over your LinkedIn feed?

Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Smart marketers follow smart marketers (more on this later in this article).

Rubin Hassid is one of those we watch carefully. Today, Ruben has given us a gift in the form of a prompt to eliminate the fluffy, bullsh*t words you’ll want to avoid in your content.

Avoid fancy jargon.

Avoid analogies. Be straightforward. Short sentences.

You are forbidden to use overly complex English words.

Cool AI tools to help your email strategy

We like finding tools to make our lives better. Why not share them with you?

Take a look at these nifty finds and let us know if you’re already using some of them:

  • ReaderGPT
ReaderGPT is a ChatGPT-based web page summariser available as a Chrome extension. You can use this extension to summarise an article in three concise bullet points, or an article in 50 words. This is great for summarising news or shortening long descriptions for future emails you may send.

  • Goblin.tool
Goblin.tools is a collection of small, simple, single-task tools, mostly designed to help with time-consuming or admin-heavy digital tasks. The Formalizer section is our favourite tool for message tone. What’s yours?

  • Quilbott AI Content Detector
The last thing you want is to share a quote, phrase or even copy you’ve used from a prompt that reeks of blatant, weak AI copy. Use this AI detector to let you know how much like AI your copy sounds and how likely how much of it is AI-generated.

We’ll share a few more in the coming articles, but these are great as free tools to tighten your email copy and content strategy just a little until then.
